Registration will open in May for our August 13 - September 21 - 6 week- session.
Learn all about clay, in person and let your imagination soar!
Whether you want to make functional ware, sculpt, use molds or the extruder, the TLCA offers access to a wide variety of clays, underglazes, glazes, slips and more. Participate in pit fires, luster firing and other fun workshops. Bring a notebook and let's make your clay ideas come true.
If you are a beginner or coming back to clay sign up only for the Wednesday night class. If you sign up for the wrong level you will be asked to move to the level that matches your skills, no exceptions. The Fundamentals class is a 6 week course.
A $70 material and handling fee is due to the instructor 24h prior to or at the first class . The materials fee includes a bag of regular clay.
Shortly prior to the beginning of classes you will receive all the needed class login information and instructor’s Venmo or check info.

This class is dedicated to beginners to ceramics only and people who have not done ceramics in many years and need a refresher in techniques. After this session is completed, if students want to continue taking classes they must sign up for another session of classes. This class is not a repeat class.

**The requirements to attend an intermediate, intermediate/advanced class are knowing the fundamental building techniques, including and not limited to how to use the slab roller, scoring and slipping, pinching, coiling, using molds, and knowing how to glaze. Fundamentals are not taught at intermediate and advanced levels, instead, students build on the skills they have acquired so they can achieve more complex projects and continue towards more advanced techniques. No exceptions.
