The Falkirk Cultural Center and Terra Linda Ceramic Artists are proud to present:

CORNELIA NEVITT A RETROSPECTIVE

March 5th - April 2nd, 2021

This unique solo artist exhibit features, Marin County award-winning sculptor Cornelia Nevitt.

A member of many art groups around the San Francisco Bay Area, including the Terra Linda Ceramic Artists, Cornelia's abundant work is introspective and imaginative and reflects her own inner world. She draws her inspiration from human figures and environment and from nature.

Cornelia's work is unique and highly diversified in styles and techniques. This is a show not to be missed.

The show is open for in-person viewing at the Falkirk Cultural Center from March 5th-April 2nd Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-1pm and Wednesdays and Fridays from 1pm-5pm.* Wear a mask, maintain social distancing and practice proper hand hygiene while viewing the galleries.

This one day show will be juried by Libby Garrison, Marketing&Communications Director for the Marin Cultural Services and will feature the works of 50 local Marin artists of which 16 are TLCA artists.

TLCA 2020 – Falkirk Exhibition

The Terra Linda Ceramic Artists is pleased to present its first Virtual Exhibition, hosted by the Falkirk Cultural Center in San Rafael.

The exhibit showcases the works of 38 artists from the Terra Linda Ceramic Artists vibrant community.

32nd Annual California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Arts

May 1-3, 2020 – VIRTUAL Conference

Terra Linda Ceramic Artists will be exhibiting for the second year at CCACA (California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Arts ).

TLCA artists will be selected to represent the group for this exciting 3 day of Ceramic Arts immersion.

Thanks to John Natsoulas, the founder of the CCACA one can stroll for free through dozens of pop up galleries. Purchasing the conference gave access to live demonstrations and inspiring lectures by professional ceramicists. This event repeats every year do not miss it!

John Natsoula Gallery where you can view some amazing art and pick up your map is conveniently located at the corner of 521 First Street in downtown Davis, California.

“Marin County Fair Theme Award” Susan Hontalas, “Outstanding Award in Sculpture”, “Outstanding Award in Stone Sculpture “, “3rd Place in Ceramics” Cornelia Nevitt, “1st Place in Miniature”, “Outstanding Award for Various Media”, only to name a few of our adult winners. Congratulations to everyone!

31st Annual California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Arts

Terra Linda Ceramic Artists exhibited for the first time at the CCACA (California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Arts ).

16 TLCA artists were selected to represent the group for this exciting 3 day of Ceramic Arts immersion. TLCA shared the same building as the Mendocino Arts Center and the Davis Arts Center at 508 2nd st. downtown Davis.

Marinwood Spring Art Show

March 23rd – 3-7pm

The one day show was juried by Gabriella Calicchio and featured 15 TLCA artists. The first place was awarded to Dave Yoas, Second place to Alex Friedman, Third place to Donna Klie. Honorable Mention were awarded to Sandra McCreary, June Miller and Lisa Clarke.

1st Place was awarded to Nadia Tarzi-Saccardi, 2nd Place to Lisa Clarke and 3rd Place to Jennifer Lipson.

“FORM & FIRE: THE ALCHEMY OF CLAY”

September 14 – October 25, 2018

The Terra Linda Ceramic Artists was pleased to present “Form & Fire: The Alchemy of Clay” . Through the process of transformation of matter and the act of combining seemingly ordinary elements, artists created dozens of extraordinary and magical pieces that were on display at the Falkirk Cultural Center in San Rafael. Over 300 guests, including Marin County Supervisor Damon Connolly, attended the Opening Night September 14th. The exhibit was a smashing success and showed our Marin County community the amazing talent and diversity of our artists.

And in our “Youth Classes” we had as many awards such as “Best of Show in Ceramics”, Brooke. Y, “Special Award” Dylan. G, “Best of Class in Ceramics”, June. M, to also name a few.
